Diana’s newest series “Rain” was started in 2021. By manipulating beautiful paints and applying her “no rules with art” theory, this series has caused a perfect “storm”! Taking time away from the wait-listed Bunee series, the pandemic has allowed time for Diana to bring this series to life. It’s called ”Rain” because of the sound it makes when the paint hits the canvas. It combines blacks and deep reds and blues with vibrant yellows and soft pinks. All blending harmoniously and allowing the gazer to lose themselves in endless imagery from this modern-day Pollock influenced series. 

What started out as an abstract Bunee piece not only evolved to have modern stained glass undertones but also the creation of ÜNE. @officiallyune

This vibrant, multi-faceted piece is 2’ x 3’ acrylic gauche on gallery grade canvas. (Currently unframed as all the edges have been painted for frameless option.)

The 36” x 36” gallery grade canvas holds hundreds of Diana’s thoughts, some connecting and making sense and some just non-sensical, causing the gazer to try and decipher the why or what.

The doodle series is something that just happened and after taking a vote what to name it, @miller_mansour came in with something so perfect. 

A play on “c’est tres jolie”, and as simple as that the series was born.

Because of drawing each detail in any direction, the canvas can be hung any which way.

Whimsically mysterious, disconnected yet linked, like life, never knowing what to expect next.....it’s very Diana, C’est Tres Joleen! 

Diana Joleen felt compelled to create this series as a means to remind the divided world that we are “One”.  

During the toughest years in most recent history, the global pandemic humbled us all. Regardless  of our geography, creed, race, sex, we united as the human race to fight against the virus.
But unfortunately the world remains divided and at war. Wars on race. Wars on religion. Wars on territory.
Being an artist, Diana Joleen always feels that she needs to release positivity and hope through her works.
This series embodies the beauty of any sky. The hues of a sunset, the bursts of the sun as it breaks dawn, regardless of where we are, all under one sun, one moon, One Sky.
We are one.
This is a mixed-media custom framed 24”x30” acrylic and water-based spray paint on gallery grade canvas, (1.5” depth).
